I design search and discovery for the people who find and bid on construction projects. Eight years at ConstructConnect, currently on Project Intelligence, where the work spans guided onboarding, document experiences, and AI-assisted search.

The through-line in my work is the decisions between the artifacts: the tradeoffs, constraints, and judgment calls that determine what actually ships. I care about validating before building, degrading gracefully instead of hiding features, and making AI explain itself rather than perform magic.

The domain matters more than it sounds like it should. A contractor deciding whether to bid a job is making a real business decision with real money behind it, and the software either helps them decide or wastes their afternoon. Eight years in, that still holds my attention.

Outside of work I enjoy drawing, running, and keeping up with my kids.
